Application for a childcare place in Freiberg

There is a common application procedure for all early childhood development centres in Freiberg. You can submit the application online or print out the standardised form. It is also available in our childcare centres or can be obtained from the Freiberg town council at the information desk in the community centre or from the Office for Education, Youth and Social Affairs.

If you are interested in a childcare place, you are welcome to contact us at an early stage so that we can plan for your child.

Completion instructions

If you would like your child to be looked after in one of our daycare centres, please indicate this as your first choice on the application form. Ideally, you should contact us personally in advance.

Please complete the application form in full, sign it and return it at least 6 months before you wish to start childcare:

The parental fees in Freiberg's daycare centres per place and month for crèche or kindergarten children, depending on the different daily care times, can be found here:

Application for payment of childcare costs

As long as you are studying or have a low income, it is possible to cover some or all of the childcare costs under certain conditions.
