Since 1 September 2013, the daycare registration card has been the basis for admitting your child to a daycare centre in the town of Mittweida. This applies to all municipal centres and the three independent providers DRK, Lebenshilfe and AWO.
The daycare centre registration card ensures that there are no double registrations and that parents are informed of their child's childcare facility at an early stage, thus ensuring that places are available. This means that the previous waiting lists are no longer necessary and every child can receive a childcare place in Mittweida with their personally issued daycare centre registration card.
