In cooperation with the city and the Mittweida University of Applied Sciences, the Studentenwerk offers day care in the immediate vicinity of the campus.
The Technikumplatz 9 ("T 9") building is located directly on campus. In addition to an information centre and a youth club in the main building, the cosy day care rooms are located in the annex. Just like in a "real" flat, there is a hallway, a bathroom, a large living room with a kitchenette and a bedroom. There is even a small outdoor area with a sandpit and play equipment.
