Our daycare centre - a home to feel good in
Welcome to the Campuszwergen, the Freiberg Student Union's daycare centre certified by the Kneipp Association. It is located directly at the entrance to the campus and can be reached by the city bus line C.
The daycare centre is designed as a combined crèche and kindergarten facility and has an adjoining play garden, which is planted with trees, shrubs and hedges.
Children can run around to their heart's content, practise their skills, discover adventures and experience nature up close.
Rooms
The rooms are designed in a child-friendly way and offer the children orientation through symbols at eye level in the entrance area of each group. With separate areas for the crèche and kindergarten, a variety of functional rooms and a creative room, the daycare centre invites children to enjoy a varied time of discovery and play.
Concept
The concept is based on the Saxon education plan and offers the children a stimulating world of learning and experience based on holistic support. Special emphasis is placed on working according to Sebastian Kneipp's health concept, encouraging curiosity and social interaction as well as teaching science and sustainability through playful discovery and experimentation.
Parents' Council & Association
The Campuszwerge e.V. parents' and sponsors' association puts its heart and soul into numerous projects to make the nursery and kindergarten years even more enjoyable. From the purchase of play equipment to the organisation of events, the association makes an important contribution and is always happy to welcome new members and creative ideas.
Application for a childcare place
There is a common application procedure for all early childhood development centres in Freiberg. You can submit the application online or print out the standardised form. It is also available in our childcare centres or can be obtained from the Freiberg town council at the information desk in the community centre or from the Office for Education, Youth and Social Affairs.
